Not long ago, I discussed predictability and whether that ruins a book for you. In that post, I also clarified that I am not one to get all hot and bothered by spoilers. In fact, (hold on to your pearls) I sometimes seek them out. I’m pretty much going against everyone else on the planet apparently, because people get so, excuse me for this, butthurt about finding out a plot point or character development or that someone sneezes on page 342. For me, the story isn’t ruined if I know a pivotal part of what is going to happen. And if I can’t enjoy the story after knowing what will happen, then the storytelling isn’t strong the first place. So we may have taken a bit of time off… Enough so that you’d probably call it a hiatus. It was a purely accidental one, though, as far as hiatuses go. First we migrated, then we had some header design issues, then our WordPress followers wouldn’t move over (that’s the bulk of our followers, mind you). In the middle of all this disorganized chaos, I was featured on Book and a Beverage (thanks, Brittany!), and then promptly had to hide ourselves because of problems. We were down for the count for what felt like forever (yea, more like a month), and you know what? I missed blogging. I take that as a great sign — that the hiatus actually was accidental and I wasn’t just tired of the habit.
