Celebrating one year with three giveaways!!

December 16, 2014 Randomz 31

Confession time: our one year was technically December 4, but it slipped by unnoticed. I mean,  I knew we launched in December last year, but had no clue which date it really was. I estimated the 14th, but I was off by ten days. But WHO CARES because we want to celebrate with a giveaway because its the holidays and Ashley and I both really love gift giving. And this is the easiest gift giving in history because we know you all like books!

Before I get to the deats, I’ll make you suffer through a little reflection. For me, this blogging thing has been addicting, frustrating and fun. Addicting because obviously is immensely satisfying when someone comments on your posts. Out in that big bad internet someone has taken the time to say something about what you’ve done. Everyone gets a kick out of that. Frustration comes in when you want to do something on the blog, but less fun life factors make it impossible for you to do so. Ashley and I took a dive this summer, but thankfully we’ve made it through mostly unscathed, just missing some fingers and toes. And fun is getting to read everyone else’s great posts out there in this bookish community. I love all of your passion, humor and wittiness. And you all have recommended some great books this last year. I’ve been turned on to some wonderful stand-alone and series now that I’m doing this blogging thing.

Which segues nicely (its like I planned that) into our giveaways! The inspiration for two of our giveaways is the great series we have read this year blogging. And I will be doing a secondary international (as long as Amazon ships to you) giveaway that is completely open up to $20. Here’s what we have in store for you lovely people:

I hit my one year this year too and it is a super triumphant feeling, so congratulations and enjoy that feeling ! :)

From Annie’s list I’d pick Verity, because I got it from the library and loved it and would love to actually own it.

From Ashley’s list I’d pick Outlander because I keep saying I’m going to read it in 2015 and if I actually owned it it might get bumped up to the top of the TBR!

Congrats on a full year. I know what you mean about it being stressful at times but you are doing fine.

Just a hint, you can still change the titles in your rafflecopter even though the giveaway is going, away from ‘choose your own option.’

You continue to be a source of wisdom. I can’t believe I missed that. Blame the midnight oil.

Eeeeep, CONGRATULATIONS!!! It’s been great seeing Lovely Literature’s journey these past few months… even though I haven’t been the most loyal of commenters. (So sorry! ><) And haha, at least you're celebrating your blogoversary in the same month, right? ;)

I definitely agree with your thoughts on blogging, Anne! I know all too well what it feels like when life gets in the way and — what even is time?? But yes, blogging is satisfying enough, so it totally makes up for the frustrating bits! I’m constantly in awe of the wonderful people — like you! :D — who make sense of my ramblings and even leave comments on them. That’s one of the many reasons why I love the bookish community so much.

Ooh, you guys have such awesome books up for grabs! I would enter the giveaway, except that I just came back from a crazy book sale, which of course increased my to-read list even more. I have no idea how I’m going to finish all the books I own now. T_T But good luck to anyone who enters!!

Congratulations once again, you two, and here’s to many more years of happy blogging! <3 <3 <3

Congrats! Sounds like you’re well on your way toward blogging stardom–especially with three giveaways–you’re in the big leagues now! (Don’t forget us little people.)

I’m kind of jelly that you two blog together. I’m been heckling some guy friends to do it buuuuut alas nothing has come to fruition. TANGENTS. Anyways: here’s to more years of fun, stressful, feels-inducing, blogging!

    Cheers,

Wooooo, happy blog birthday, you guys! I’m so glad I met you and became a fan of your blog. You have some great discussions on Lovely Literature! :D

Also: I love the new look! (You did change your theme, right? I usually read your posts in Feedly so I don’t always see the blog design. >_<)

It's so awesome to be part of the bookish community! I've only discovered you girls recently, but expect that I'll be around a bit more. <3

Hi! Happy Anniversary Lovely Literature! My favorite tv show is… I’m currently watching ANTM so I guess it is. I love how the models pose, being fierce, booch tooch, pout! And I like when somebody’s fighting with each other lol. So, thank you for this giveaway. And also for giving chance for international readers. Love from Philippines ♥
